This is slightly belated but, Happy Ramadhan everyone! This is my first puasa in Brunei in 4 years, and I go and spend the first week of it at work :P Ditto with the first week of raya.. Oh well, can't be helped I guess.. Not really keen on taking a week off of work, because well, what would I do with 3 weeks off??

No plans for this 2 weeks, except maybe to finally move all my stuff into the new room. Was planning on doing a scuba course with a friend who was in the country for work, but unfortunately said friend had to go back home :P Just when I was building up the excitement about the course too. Oh well, maybe next time, when it's not the fasting month heheh.. Have a few plans to meet up with friends for sungkai already, and the parentals are wanting to spend the weekend in Bandar.

Speaking of fasting, it wasn't too bad fasting on the rig; I did get pretty weak and cranky by the end of the day, but overall it wasn't too bad. Only thing is, I can never wake up for sahur cause I can't be bothered, too tired and I just value my sleep far too much. Looking forward to going to the gerais for sungkai, I haven't been yet, was meant to go yesterday but I was tired from work so I slept as soon as I got home, and just about managed to wake up for sungkai before crashing back into bed again.

Went to the office today to do some paperwork; could have technically done it at home, but for some reason or other, there was an extra long blackout in Lumut today; had to have a cold shower, and left the house with dripping wet hair, and drove to the office with the windows down so my hair could "air-dry" lol.

So the KL trip was good; just what I needed, a quick, relaxing, girly getaway. Me and A went shopping for most of the day, and spent the nights meeting up with our KL friends from work and uni...Me and A really got a chance to talk and catch up with each other's lives as well. With our schedule the way it is, we only get to see each other maybe once a month, so we had loads to talk about.. Only bad thing is, our flight home was delayed by 3 hours, so instead of arriving back in Brunei at 8, I got back at about 11pm. I think only normal airlines for me from now on.. It wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have to be up for work at 5 am the next day, but as it was, I was getting pretty stressed out towards the end :P

Speaking of trips, sounds like the EP00 reunion in Egypt is actually going to happen!! Very exciting, will be good to see the guys again. So will be starting to look for cheap tickets from tomorrow onwards, which means no shopping sprees for me anytime soon :( Well, that's probably a good thing as I did manage to spend a fortune during my 3 days there! No, I don't know what I got either, but whatever it was, it was expensive!
