Just started my task of hoovering the whole house. Aiyo. I think I salah pilih kerja. We usually have a Dyson but its been taken home so now am doing it with a cute small little silver thing. Cute, tapi payah kan rolling rolling across the carpeted floors. My back and hands hurt already lol...One landing down, one whole house (and 2 rooms) to bloody go =/

Oh yeah, my internet's being cut off today, so not sure when my next log in is gonna be.. I need a net cafe!! =(

Finished packing!! People're coming tomorrow and I will be glad to see the last of those things!! =P Its the unpacking it at the other end thats gonna be a nightmare though lol =S Had a bit of a discussion with C about something today, and it realy made me think. Dont really wanna talk about it here, but suffice to say it worries me and when the time comes I'm not sure what I'd do or how I'd cope...Its very silly how this train of thought came about and its probably not the right time to think about it, but at the same time.. =/ Might talk to my mom about it actually and see what she says. Lol, mysterious enough for you guys? its basically about just how far and how much one person is willing to go and sacrifice for someone else. Yeah I'm sure that clears things up for people lol =)

Just got back from sending M off at the coach station, 'twas a good visit =) Didnt do much, the past coupla days was spent lounging in bed, watching telly and chatting lol. Spent over an hour at this restaurant near uni just now, just talking about our lives then, now, and in the future...Not to mention respective men lol! Its just gonna be weird, the 11 people in my batch hardly ever meet up when we're here, but when we're at home for our summer attachment, we spend every free time we get with each other, and it feels like we've never spent 9 months away from each other lol! Cue emails/MSN messages/texts/personal visits to get everyone to meet up in the canteen for brekkie, mass emailing sessions to sort out today's lunch location, designated drivers, departure location, etc etc lol! Getting everyone together is a major effort you know heheh...This year will be different though... some of us are starting attachments again, probably in the 2nd week of August, whereas others're gonna be starting work on the 1st of September as proper employees. And then they'll go on to experience a totally different life compared to those continuing on for another year. Proper work life, with things like courses, training sessions, meetings to attend, vs. uni life all over again for an extra year. I'm just hoping that when everyone is in the office together again, we'll still be as good friends as we are now...

Caught the film Poseidon today, just to take advantage of our Orange 241 offer lol.. Verdict? Typical disaster film, but highly enjoyable just the same. Found myself holding my breath the same time as the actors to see if I would survive if I was in that situation...So how? No hope lah lol :p I have very small lung capacity, PLUS I cant swim! The opening scene showed a gorgeous cruise ship and I was entertaining thoughts of taking a cruise vacation sometime in the near future... Watched the film and decided will not be going anywhere near a ship til I can swim about like a fish =P Looks like I might take swimming lessons this summer lol.. Ooh M told me about this gym/dance studio place in KB that my friend's mom just opened...I'm keen on dancing again actually, I haven't danced properly at all this year, everything was just too hectic...So that's something else I'll be taking up, probably more ballroom/latin and maybe some hip-hop as well if I can =D

Off to bed now, need to be up bright and early tomorrow!

Nigh time for an update methinks =) Its been a busy week. N visited all the way from Teesside, and I've been super busy trying to pack up 3 years worth of stuff (and countless shopping trips!) into 12 boxes/bags =P So yeah.. been keeping busy lah lol..

Was really really good to have N over for a visit, haven't seen her since last summer! Been planning to see each other for ages, but always nda sempat, so while we both have FA (f*ckall) to so, thought it'd be a good time for a visit..We hung out, chatted, caught up on gossip, starbucks-ed, and obviously, shopped =D Yep, summer sales fever has hit the country. Went to the White Rose centre just outside Leeds just when the Zara sale started and we each came back with multiple purchases each heheh... Got myself some additions to my work wardrobe, and I am currently on the lookout for a graduation outfit. Apparently we have to wear monochrome colours; got my black pinstriped trousers, now I need a pretty shirt to go with it. I know pulang it'll be all covered under the robe, but I'd still like to look good under the robe, thanks lol. Gonna schedule a hair appointment, pedi and mani session as well before G-Day lol =P

Took N to visit York last week as well, except the girl didnt do any sightseeing, shops-seeing adalah =P York is such a pretty city, I fully recommend all tourists to spend some time there, think I'll come back for a weekend trip in York next yr.. It's just such a "Ye olde English town" kinda place, but with good shops, and of course, Betty's Tea Room with gorgeous tea and cakes =) Managed to catch the new Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock film, The Lakehouse. Loved it loved it loved it. It was a tad confusing trying to figure out the physics of time-space continuum, but the story was oh-so-sweet and I was rooting for the couple throughout the film =) Sandra Bullock's really pretty and Keanu was his usual hotness heheh...Watched a Bollywood film as well, called Fanaa, would recommend that as well. Its not the usual running around, rolling around, singing along, synchronised dancing thing like you'd expect...well it *is* like thsat, to a certain extent, but it's also got a proper story with good twists. Definite must watch =)

Ooh me and the parentals are watching Cats at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford on the 20th cant wait, been wanting to watch it since I was a kid! I practically know all the songs, just from watching it on Star Tv and listening to the casette tape of the OST lol.. Yeah thats how long I've been wanting to watch Cats, masih ada cassette tapes yaw ;o)

Another friend, M, is here for a visit from Notts. Lol, all these visits ah, its only cause they left it til their final year to visit us Leeds people =P Then I'm moving out this Saturday and its bye bye Granby Road =( All this moving's too much of a hassle lah, need to clean my room lagie, the house lagie.. I swear I would pay quite a lot of money to have professional cleaners and packers come in and sort my life out. And then kan, my walls have got masking tape marks all over it, that I need to paint over =/ And its not even my fault =/ P punya pasal, but is P painting? Noooo ME painting everything over =P

Rambling on, hit the card holders' Harvey Nicks' sale tadi..sanggup again open a store account, just to get an extra 10% off the sale price heheh =D Took some pics of my purchases and then put my memory card into the lappie's slot, forgetting to check the size of the slot, with respect to the size of the card. Drama ensues as the card get stuck deep into the guts of my lappie, plus squeals of frustration from yours truly :P Got a Gucci wristlet and a Prada woven bag btw.

Not really concentrating, just writing this for the sake of writing =P So bah, I is outtie =)

Lol wow my second post in under 3 hours, miracle!! Heheh... just remembered I had something else to blog about but I forgot, so instead of editing might as well start another post lah hehe...

Got a text from my mom a coupla days ago about my status on Msn (those in my msn list you know what it is). Those that aren't, its "~Missing Him~". Him being P lah obviously lol! *blush* but anyways mom texted me going "Omg! (Yeah she does use omg, she da coolness :D) your status on MSN! Your dad's online a lot nowadays you know, what if he sees your status and asks?? Nasib now it hasnt clicked on him!"

Laughed my head off when I read it hehe..My poor mom was worried that my dad would ask about my status, because obviously, he kinda doesn't know about my currenly attached status in real life. Been keeping it a secret from him, basically because he'd disapprove cause he has always been of the opinion that I should be working steadily before I even contemplated having a guy around. Mom was too, until I came here then she became more open-minded. But c'mon lah Pa, my biological clock ticking already, takut expire and kena left on the shelf then how?? lol! Obviously I've never said this to him..

So anyways, my question is, how should I go about breaking the news to my lovely dad about a guy I've been seeing for most of the year? I reckon I should just go for it and tell him, cause now that my results are out, I've kinda proven to the parentals (and myself) that having a relationship doesnt necessarily mean sacrificing your studies. Plus, I'm 22 already lah...However, mom reckons that I should let Dad know gently. And if possible, not anywhere in the near future lol..But I dont really want to keep it from him any longer, cause I'd rather he find out from me than some random who runs into him on the street one day and tells him how he ran into his daughter and her bf on the streets of UK :P He can't react that badly to it can he? *ponders* Lol..I might just casually slip it into the dinner table conversation when they eventually get here; my dad doesnt pay attention when I talk anyways lol :P

And another thing, not about me this time ah... My coursemate's been seeing our English coursemate for most of this year too, and her parentals have specifically told *her* not to be getting involved with foreigners in her 3 years here. But now, what to do right, fate's played her hand, and the couple are madly in love with each other...they're really really sweet together. But now my friend's looking for ideas on how to let her parents know, gently, that she's seeing this guy. Without them hitting the roof? Tell them now, before they get here, so they have a coupla weeks to get used to the idea? Or tell them when they get here and kinda "surprise-attack" the poor people with that little tidbit of information??

Decisions, decisions, what say the masses?

Heys ladies and gents! =) Hope everyone had a good weekend, my Saturday was spent half in bed, half at a Malaysian gig thing near uni, and my Sunday was spent in bed with 3 of my friends, watching 7 episodes of Prison Break, with the Brazil match thrown in for good measure lol! Quite a lazyass weekend, just the way they're meant to be.

Went to Sheffield for a day trip today to meet up with the guys from my batch; we hadnt seen each other since last summer's attachment so it was good to see everyone and catch up. Managed to spend some time at the arcade too. Decided I love shoot-em-up games like House of the Dead, but only if I'm playing with a friend, if I'm by myself I get bored playing with the computer lol..

Got back a coupla hours ago, and started packing, need to vacate my current house by the 1/7 and I have done nothing at all! Packing's the bane of my life...that, and unpacking :P I would gladly pay someone a lotta money to do all my packing and sorting out for me. Really. Lol! Managed to clear my notes and textbooks, and went through some suitcases for some stuff to give away to the bins, as well as to charity. But not before the housemates had an inspection to make sure there wasnt anything they wanted in those bin bags lol! Still *so* much to do!! I keep putting it off though, I have so much more better things to do..Like my house visitor tomorrow lol :D A friend's coming to visit from Middlesbrough, and we havent seen her for a while either so you can bet the nights are gonna be full of chatter and gossip, just like they should be =)

Cant sleep yet even though I was knackered on the way back... Will prob do a bit more reading and surfing before I wake the sleeping giant back in Brunei to say good night lol! The poor guy gets his sleep interrupted by me every single morning at unholy hours, tapi layan jua heheh.. Like he has a choice really =D

As of today, the 16th of June, 2006, my life as an undergraduate is officially over. No more waiting about for results, now all I have to do is to get ready for the big G(raduation) Day :o) What to wear, how to have my hair, to wear a hat in the photos or not...so many decisions to make lol! 3rd year Earth Sciences student results were released at 4pm this afternoon and oh.my.god, i swear time seemed to crawl to a stop today. I woke up at 8 am, and it seemed to take forever to get to 4pm...Went to town with my coursemates to kill time, and I was so nervous I didnt even manage to shop! lol!! Nervous banar sudah tu u know =P Although, I *am* going to go back to a coupla shops tomorrow to get that cute skirt and dress I saw...lol...maybe I wasnt *that* nervous eh =D Today's been playing on my mind for about a week now, and last night's Nandos dinner didnt even help much, I picked at my food while my housemates did their best to reassure me of things. But you know when you work yourself up into a state when nothing can calm you down other than knowing the outcome of something? Thats how I felt, they could talk to me all they want, it wouldn't have done a bit of difference to my nerves.

Been keeping the actual date of my result release secret from the parentals at home, mainly because I didn't want to be called or texted every few minutes today by well-meaning parents asking me whether I knew yet or not :p Dear old mom suspected though, cause my counterparts in Manchester and Nottingham received theirs a coupla days earlier, so she actually yexted me at 6 am Thursday to check that I wasnt witholding result information from her :P That text woke me, and I couldn't get back to sleep after...Cue entrance of grumpy me =P So when I called home tadi at about 1115pm Brunei time my mom was shocked to say the least lol! Think she wasnt expecting it today and at that late an hour...Bless her though, she squealed so loudly and even said "Oh my god!" I can't think of the last time my mom actually said that lol! Speaking of counterparts, I'm meeting up with them this Monday to visit a couple of guys in our batch studying at Sheffield..This'll have been the first time we've seen each other in 9 months, and it'll be good catching up. Lots of things have happened this year to everyone, not to mention the upcoming events :D

Didnt do much to celebrate, went to the union to hang out with the coursemates then off to a chinese buffet and stuffed my face...Went home to chill for a bit, was meant to go to this house party after, but decided that actually, all this waiting about was draining work and I really really just want to vegetate for a while. So got home, changed into comfy PJs and had a couple of my good friends come round with a film...Been hanging out since then, watching vids of youtube, playing on the ps2, chatting, etc. Think I've had more fun tonight than I would've at that party :)

So whats gonna be in the near future for me?? Who knows, I'm just gonna enjoy the rest of my time here with a care-free heart and soul =)

I rented a laptop and I'm now connected to the world again!!! And its wireless too!! :D

Been a busy coupla days since I last updated:

Friends from Belfast and Nottingham have been visiting and it's been good to have them here, just chilling and stuff. Went on a daytrip to York last weekend, it is *such* a pretty place; we did loads of walking, took a boat ride, dressed up in victorian clothes and posed for a portrait, had proper english cream tea and scones with clotted cream at a posh tearoom, etc etc... all in all, a good day out :o)

Was sad to say bye to them though, just cause they're part of my home life and to say bye to them was just...bleh =/ On a lighter note, N's coming next week and we're planning to have another day out, maybe in Harrogate, cause on the train to York we passed by it, and it looked really pretty so hopefully things'll work out as planned *fingerscrossed*

Need to start packing at some point, but I keep putting it off. Not like I have anything better to do but I just cant seem to get started on the packing.. Another housemate, K, is leaving for home today and m gonna meet up with everyone for a last lunch in a bit =( 3 down, 4 to go.. Although to be fair, it'll be a loonnnggg time before its my turn to pack up and leave. You dont realise how slowly time passes until you have no work to do to keep you busy.

On the love front, I've been getting used to him not being here; speak to him a coupla times a day, but nowhere as much as we used to. Less texting as well (there have been words about this :P), but its all good. Still get quite lonely once in a while, specially when I see couples out and about enjoying the summer sun together, but it cant be helped *shrug* =(

Anyways gotta dash off to the Fav to meet up for lunch!

Me and my housemate have calculated that everyday since last Friday, we've shed tears over some issue or another :P So far we've made it to a week without breaking this tradition and it doesnt look like the floodinng will stop anytime soon :P Its been really emotional, what with housemates leaving and stuff..All I can say is, thank god for waterproof mascara. Just spent the last coupla days with my friend who was visiting from Belfast, and I've just sent her off. Cue waterworks lol. Tomorrow my friend from Notts is coming to stay til the 12th so I will thankfully be busy again for the next coupla days at least.

So yeah, had a bit of a dilemma about whether to go home or not before graduation, but after talking to everyone, ie the girls at home, theyve convinced me that its best for me to stay here and finish sorting my life out before I go back end of July. I want to go home SO badly but I know its in my best interests not to. The days are stretching out endlessly ahead of me though, I doubt I'll get a job, so what'm I meant to do from now til July 17th? Thats when my parents're coming over by the way. Then another 2 weeks before I return to good ol Brunei...

Back in Leeds now, feeling less than top form though lol..Hardly had any sleep last night, and today was slightly (ok, very) emotional. At this moment, P's up in some airspace somewhere, probably snoring his way merrily through the cabin :P Granted, I haven't known him that long, but he's been a big part of my life for the past year and to think I won't be seeing him for the next 8 weeks...kinda crap really. Cried a *lot*, looked absolutely shit this morning, eyes were practically swollen shut, could barely get my contacts in lol! And to top it off, I've managed to get a fever/cold from somewhere so now am stuck in bed while most of the girls are out partying... Speaking of bed, thanks much and much to A and S, while I was away they moved most of my stuff up to a first floor room, cause I just didnt feel safe living on the ground floor anymore. So when I came in this morning, my pillows, stuffed animals and stuff were all placed upstairs, my room was cleaned, my telly and ps2 was moved upstairs, basically a quick and painless move, in my case lah lol! Love the girls, bless them =) Gonna have to find ways to keep myself busy the next few weeks, to be honest its all kinda stretching out ahead of me. Maybe I need to start packing, going out and visiting friends, etc etc...Any ideas? Gonna stop now, Desperate Housewives is on! Will leave you guys with a coupla pics taken this morning, excuse the corniness :P

Its been one hell of an eventful week...Gonna take a leaf out of Mel and Chevvy's book now and blog pointform cause I is in an internet cafe now. Starting from last day of exams (which actually went quite shit but cause it was my last paper wasnt too bothered. Until results day that is =P) :

1. Went for dinner and then out with the coursemates

2. Bummed about the next coupla days, got a pedi done, sorted my stuff out, did some much needed shopping

3. Went to see P for the weekend to help him pack up for the year, spent the Sunday sending things back and forth to this postgrad's place. Skali while chatting with the nice lady in the kitchen, kna tanya when I was getting married. Fell off chair, became speechless =P

4. Saturday went to Caterham for a fun-filled day with Mel and family, Noor, downsouth boys, etc. had a yummy bbq, played footie in the rain and mud (in my WHITE trousers). Was very very cool, and the pedi even survived! =D (Mel, need your addy, have to send the sluar back lol!)

5. Got back to Leeds super early Monday morning, had dim sum with the housemates and respective visiting bfs lol. Chicken feet and beef tripe yumm ;o) Lol K didnt take too well to it though, she kept having to hold back her gagging throughout the whole meal bless her..

6. Turned 22 on Tuesday, felt exactly the same though hehe.. Thanks muchos to all the wellwishers on my blog, friendster, text, brustu, etc etc =D Lubs you much and much!! Had dinner with friends and housemates, got some very cool pressies (Dance mat, Radley weekend bag, bath and body stuff, etc)

7. The rest of the week was spent shopping for the Summer ball on 2/6/06. Got myself a brown polka dotty dress from Ted Baker, a pair of sky-high heels from Kurt Geiger, and various other accessories like a pashmina, earrings to match. Total spent = £*** (censored, but definitely 3 figures =/)

8. Had a bbq on Thursday to celebrate S's final exams, had too much food (again!!). Weather surprisingly ok.

9. Friday turned out to be an amazingly gorgeous day! Had my hair done for the ball, spent the rest of the afternoon sunning myelf in our front garden/concrete path before going off for a late dinner. Went to the ball at 9.

10. Ball was outdoors so my heels kept getting stuck in the wet grass evey few steps or so. P kept having to pull me out bless him. Food was super-expensive. Went on a ride, felt ill after. Watched Rachel Stevens perform (badly =P) Ball was supposed to last til 6 am, but but about 130 was tired and cranky and decided to come home. Got on coach home, got some takeout and got a cab home.

11. Got into my room, realised my laptop wasnt on my table, thought I left it in one of the other girls' rooms. Then P noticed my window was wide open. Put 2 and 2 together and realised I'd been robbed. Did quick check of room, they took my lappie, phone, P's phone and wallet. Didnt know what to do, we were both shocked...Sat on my bed for a bit crying my eyes out. Some of my housemates came back and they were amazing, helping me calm down, calling the police, staying up with me and P. The guys checked the house just in case they were still there. Wasnt updet cause of what the thieves took, but cause my room , my personal space had been invaded by some pikey, uneducated fuckwits and I just didnt feel safe anymore. Leeds had always been the safest place for me, muggings and burglary happened but neveer ever thought I'd get hit too...Didnt get much sleep that night, waiting for the police and tying to sort things out. Finally went to bed about 530 am. Stupid robbers were obviously not fashion conscious they left the most valuable things in my room, like the telly, ps2, and my Chloe, with my sunnies and wallet in. That prob cost more than what they actually took. Losers. Thank god though, I'd be lost if they actually did take all that stuff =(

12. Got up 4 hours later to get ready for my trip to London, to send P off; since he's leaving tomorrow. Went to gorgeous Malaysian restaurant, had nasi lemak, ice kacang and sago gula melaka =) Went to bed early, needed to catch up on sleep.

13. Gonna get myself some bubble tea and egg tarts today, and then its off to the Lyceum Theatre, P got me Lion King tickets for my birthday! =)

14. Tomorrow's gonna be a shitty day all over again, cue waterworks at Heathrow aiport, dont care who sees me, this will actually be the first time we'll be apart for more than 2 weeks, what more 2 months =(
