From El Kapitan, Bondy =)

I was 11, and just entering Form 1 at Mumong Secondary School. Having just transferred over from an all girls' school, it was my first time being around guys lol...Didn't quite know how to act around them, sometimes I acted really girly, and other times I took them up on arm wrestling challenges (and won!). It was also the first time ever I had to wear a tudung, and let's just say it wasn't a pretty sight =/ Took 2 freaking years before I got the tudung thing right =P

I was 16 and in Form 5. Finally grew out of my super nerdy phase, gained a sense of fashion and got noticed by the same guys in school who never paid me any attention before. Enjoyed the attentionbut wasn't ready for a relationship still. Did quite a few public speaking activities, hated it. Freaked myself out about the O Levels =P

Enjoying 2nd year in Leeds. Got to know the coursemates a lot better and had lots of fun with the housemates. Travelled quite a bit, Prague, Paris, Milan, Greece. Spent 2 months in a foreign country working on the final year project with my friends with no formal supervision. Celebrated my 21st twice, once at my departmental ball before I left for Greece and once more on the actual day with my team members =) Went out with a coupla guys, but nothing ever came out of it. Dreading becoming a final year student.

Yesterday

Came back from M's house (where I'd been camping out for 2 nights, working). Had a bit of a blue moment where I didnt know what I was gonna do with my life or what I had done with it (ever felt like that?) Spoke to the bf and he gave me a loonnnggg lecture/pep talk =P Slept from the afternoon til night time, and spent the rest of the night hanging out with other Bruneians telling stupid jokes and playing silly games =) oooh and I got my tickets to watch Woman in Black on Saturday 10/12 =D

5 snacks I enjoy

In no particular order

1. Hello Panda (in the red tin)
2. Crisps and dips
3. Fizzy cola bottles
4. Kerupuk padas
5. Various chocolates

5 songs i know all the words to

1. Any boyband song
2. Bohemian Rhapsody
3. Um....a whole lotta songs? I tend to sing a lot lol

5 things I would never wear

1. Stilettos - sexy, but I can barely keep my balance in flats =P
2. Catsuits?
3. Leather pants

..Have just realised there isnt much I wouldnt wear =P

5 favourite Tv shows

1. Lost!!
2. 24
3. Desperate Housewives
4. Buffy
5. Friends

5 bad habits

1. Swearing like a whore (sometimes, when the need calls for it)
2. Saying yes when I dont really mean it or want to
3. Being annoying
4. Lying, just cause I can (eg. I told my British housemate Brunei does public executions, she told her mom, her mom gave her a weird look, and now she wont believe anything I say ever again)
5. Procrastinating

5 Biggest joys

1. Shopping (for myself, for other people, my pets, asal shopping, aku happy)
2. A chillout sesh at Starbucks with my friends, with a huge stack of mags to share between us
3. Going to the movies
4. Having a girly night in with my closest girlfriends, with lots of eating, drinking and talking
5. Staying curled in bed with a new book and/or mag

5 fictional characters I would date

1. Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice
2. Eric from The Little Mermaid (I always wanted to be Ariel *shy*)
3. Sky Masterson from Guys and Dolls (Hell, I just wanna date Ewan MacGregor)
4. Angel from Buffy

How to Make Your Dreams Come True

Of course not all dreams are pleasant and making them come true can be worse than being trapped inside a cosole horror game.

But some dreams are produced by our deeper minds and are our inner-most desires, often disguised in some strange way.

However, there is another kind of dream and that is the kind we are consciously aware of and we have them during the daylight hourse and are often just fleeting thoughts.

You know the kind. "I wish I was on a world cruise enjoying myself rather than being stuck here in the factory or behind a desk." Yes, that's also a dream because it has it is a desire that has sirfaced into our conscious minds and is something we wish for at an unconscious level.

Of course, making those kind of dreams come true is more than not virtually impossible. For example, to wish to win the lottery may never become reality in this lifetime.

However, some dreams can become reality as so many graduates of my Hypnotherapy Course have discovered.

I decided three years ago to give thousands of 'dreamers' the opportunity to fullfill their dreams and ebcome a therapist. So many people want to help other people overcome their illnesses and mental blockages to life that their only stumbling block was the cost of training. I know of hypnotherapy courses costing as much as £7,000 (more than $11,000) and training in other forms of Alternative Medicine costing as much. To become a Doctor (M.D.) can cost as much as the purchase of a house.

So, with my teeth firmly gritted together, and a determination I have no known for years, I set the goal to help at least a thousand people make their dreams come true by reducing the cost of Hypnotherapy Training so it was within the reach of almost anyone in the World.

I passed that goal having had more than 1,400 students enrol and over 800 graduate.

So in helping others make their dreams come true, I made my own dream come true and at the age of sixty-nine years of age, I am proud of that.

Why don't you take a look at what I mean at: htttp:/www.dreams2reality.co.uk

Heys all... guess who's feeling like crap? Went to uni yesterday and halfway through started feeling really cold even though I was all wrapped up, started shivering by about the end of the last class, so dragged my sorry ass home and stayed in bed from about 330 pm til 730 this am =/ Think I've caught a viral infection off my housemate...Exactly what I dont need, i dont have time to be ill!! I've got so much work for this week its stoopid =( Woke up in time for my prac this morning but was still feeling woozy and light headed so thought I'd stay in and try to work from home instead. Been in bed the whole morning though...sigh...Will prob go over to M's later to do some Greece work...

I miss my family the most when I'm ill...Called my mom up yesterday, just to tell her I was ill, and started crying down the phone =/ Dont think that made my mom feel too good either heh =P Doesnt help either that the puddle's too far away to just drop by for a quick visit =P Thank god for friends though, the housemates were really sweet last night, N made me a good dinner even though I cldnt eat most of it bless her...*manja-ness*

Updates from last week:

Guys and Dolls was amazing!!! Ewan is sooo cute =D the show was funnier than expected, and the show got a standing ovation when it was over =) I'm very much into plays and theatre now, m planning to watch Woman In Black during term break =)

Weekend was good, did some work, went to an open house, spent time with the puddle, ate (a lot) lol..

Gonna try and work now I guess, but all I really wanna do it curl up in a ball and sleep, and will someone please wake me up when the year's over?

xoxo

Guess who's watching Guys and Dolls in London's Picadilly Theatre next Wednesday, with Ewan McGregor and Jane Krakowski (Ally McBeal) starring? =D *bounces up and down* Lol.. Got an email a coupla days ago offering me £55 tickets for £20, for the Wednesday Matinee show at 230.Was lunching with S and told her about it and we both spontaneously decided to go for it. I mean, it is a pretty good deal, no? And Ewan...*drool* Since neither of us had any classes on Wednesday we'd just daytrip to London and be back in time for dinner..Cant wait now heheh...Will try my best to work my ass off up til Wednesday and the show'll be my reward for being so "hardworking" lol..

I'm absolutely swamped with work at the moment... 2 presentations, 1 computer modelling assignment, and obviously my dissertation's still looming up behind me.. all within 4 weeks?? God =/ For some reason, this year i feel totally disconnected from my uni life.. as in I'm not keeping up with deadlines and stuff...But thankfully just found out today that one of my modules isnt having any lectures next week so I'll have more time to work...I hope =P

Always knew living in a house of 7 girls'd get pretty intense at some points, but I never expected it to happen so early in the year. A couple of the housemates have fallen out over something that shouldnt really have affected either of them that much =S Dunno lah.. I miss having a guy in the house, but I dont think even Thomas would've been able to deal with 7 girls heh...Ah well, I'm keeping myself out of it, I'd really rather not be caught up with stuff...

It's my grandad's birthday today!!! Heheh gonna call home later and maybe go shopping for his gift at some point...But what to get?? Men're so hard to shop for =P

Hmm have a meeting soon, so I need to jet now xoxo

My condolences to Coen and Syazwani's families for their recent losses. Al-Fatihah.

...Well, according to S anyways. Apparently the weather's supposed to turn really wet and windy the next coupla days. As if that isnt already the normal weather in Leeds..any wetter and I might have to start learning how to swim just to get into uni =P

Had a great weekend in London =) Didnt do much raya-ing to be honest (only managed to visit Bondy's place lol). Spent most of the weekend hanging out with Coen and the guys, and eating practically 24/7 =S In fact, its been a huge binge weekend *blush* Bondy's mom is one of the best cooks ever!! Apart from that I had japanese, chinese, milkshakes, yoghurts, kebabs, etc etc...not to mention the hugggeee meal the housemates and me cooked up on Thursday.. lol.. might be time to make use of my uni gym membership soon =P Oh oh I had bubble tea in Chinatown, and it was absolutely perfect, nice drink and the pearls were just right, just the right size and texture and chewiness..lol.. am a bit of a bubble tea fanatic, in case anyone hasnt noticed =P

Met a lot of old friends and acquaintances in London so that was cool...Met a coupla of Brustuers too, altho not as many as I would've liked to see.. Apparently they *were* there, but me mana kenal =S If I were to be honest, the weekend wasnt really a raya weekend, it was more of a socialising weekend, specially with the puddle =) Came back to Leeds Sunday night and had an unexpected houseguest come stay with me =D Feels like my weekend's been extended til today heheh...was wasnt cool when he had to leave this evening =( Haha..the silly boy challenged me to a danceoff on those dancemat machines at the Light yesterday and obviously, he lost.. didnt take it too well bless him ;o)

Had a bit of a work panic attack last night and had a good cry over it...Nasib ada org around to make me feel better.. I have been putting work off for quite a bit this year, for reasons I choose not to disclose...But hopefully will be getting back on track with it this week...Well I sure as hell better get back on track or I'm screwed =/

Hmm this was a bit of a pointless post, rasa jua kn post ani wah... Just realised I've been blogging for a little over a year now, omg where has the time gone?? One of these days should go back to my first posts and remind myself what happened back "in the days" haha...

Hmm...S has just told me that most people have met their life partner by now. They may not be in a realtionship with them, but they're somewhere in our lives. Pretty interesting/scary no?

Bondy - Babe, I hope you feel better soon. You know where to find me if you wanna talk k hun? xxx

Neez - I've got my very own Starbucks mug(s!!) now!! Both courtest of the puddle, one "borrowed" and I've got the new XMas mug off of him too! =D Hehe.. did you know, if you take ur own mugs in u get a 10% discount? Lol.. yeah cause I carry mugs everywhere with me =P

Off to work now before watching Lost 5 with N xoxo

Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin everyone!!! Hope y'all have a great time wherever you are, and to those of you not at home, no crying allowed!! *confetti* *hugsNkisses*

Heheh finally got confirmation from F that its Raya tomorrow =D Same as London and the rest of the UK ...Its a bit weird though, I'm not at all excited about it. Because its so much less merry/meriah here compared to in Brunei, I just feel un enthusiastic about the whole thing...Although we did have a great last sungkai this evening lol.. soup, sambal terung and ayam kurma.. MmmMmMmm...And I finally opened the cakes and biccies my mom sent last week.. Kek tapak kuda and kek batik... My favourites =D

Called the family up tadi and every year I think I'd be more used to not being home and celebrating with them, but still had a good cry on the phone tadi =( Its just....hard being away from them during such a family oriented time...like being away from ur family during Xmas I guess (for the non Eid celebrating ppl) . Didnt help that I was listening to the takbir and Eid songs during the convo lol...

Tomorrow the whole house's gonna have a huuugee meal.. everyone's gonna make at least one dish.. to celebrate Eid lah basically...And then I'm off to London for the weekend!! To go raya-ing, jalan-ing, jumpa ppl-ing and shopp-ing? lol =D Should be good fun hehe.. Kinda contemplated staying in Leeds over the weekend cause I havent done a scrap of work but then figured I wouldnt do any work anyways so.. hehe...Cant wait to see everyone! =D

Have a great Raya everyone!! xoxoxox

Its a gorgeous bright, sunny and chilly day!! Makes me wish I was out there, having a hot drink in Starbucks heheh... 3 more hours til sungkai =D Its one of those days when everything seems right with the world, I'm really relaxed and am not worried about work at all lol.. although I think I probably should be haha =P

Went out for the first time since I've been back in Leeds last night.. I *know*! How sad?? I've been back for about 7 weeks now haha... Went to Gatecrashers, a new place that opened up over summer.. it was reallllly good!! Its got 2 floors, downstairs having a live jazzy/motown/old school band and upstairs playing straight hiphop.. lol can you guess which floor we were at?? heheh.. and the best bit was the flashing dancefloor!! Very cool heheh *sakai* Tapi it was very very slippy, almost fell over a few times =P But yeah... definitely getting the mood to go out again heheh... Its so much fun going out with the girls, seriously =D Been missing out the last coupla mths =P

Oooh we had a sungkai gathering at Abbee's yday too and I made shepherd's pie.. managed not to burn myself (or the house) so I'm very proud of myself hehe.. It was her guy's surprise bday gathering too.. very schweet lah.. hehe...Although I think he was just a *tad* jetlagged, the poor boy =)

Gonna do some work in a bit, then M's gonna come over for sungkai and we're off for that much needed Starbucks!! Heheh...

Til next time!! xoxox

p/s: Bila raya ani kan? Thursday or Friday? I is confused...

oh oh oh she has a new layout, very lawa hehe.. I is liking.. =)
